Gauhati High Court has published the exam scheduled pursuant to the advertisement dated 07.09.2015 in connection with direct recruitment of 397 Computer Typist for the subordinate court of Assam. Applicants who have applied for Computer Typist posts check their Roll No, Exam Date and Time at the Gauhati High Court official website www.ghconline.gov.in.- Computer skill test : The test of typing speed and accuracy in word processing shall be conducted with the help of typing application software. Candidate will be required to type for 2 (two) minutes and on the basis of such typing, the number of correct words per minute (WPM)/net speed of the candidate will be taken into consideration. 1(one) mark will be awarded for every word typed correctly which would be the net speed on the basis of such typing. Thereafter, candidates in the ratio of 1:3 (three candidates against one vacancy) on the basis of the net score will be called for the written test of 100 (one hundred marks).
- Written test : A written test (objective type multiple choices) of 2 (two) hours duration on OMR (optical mark recognition) answer scripts will be held. The said test would consist of 100 (one hundred) objective type multiple choices questions of 1 (one) mark each. The question paper for the written test will comprise of General English, General Knowledge & Aptitude.
- Exam Date : 27.09.2016 to 03.10.2016
- Time : 9:30 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm
- Venue : Royal Group of Institutes, Betkuchi, NH-37, Opp- Triputi Balaji Mandir, Guwahati-781035
For appearing in the typing test all the candidates will have to produce their acknowledgement card received by them at the time of submission of online application. Without the same no candidate will be allowed to take part in the test.
