Indian Air Force invites Online application from Unmarried Male Indian Citizens for selection test in January - February 2017 to join as Airmen in Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades or Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Trades or in both Groups ‘X&Y’ (Technical/Non-Technical in single sitting). The candidates eligible for the post can apply Online from 15-09-2016 to 29-09-2016

Educational Qualification :
  1. Group ‘X’ (Technical) : Passed Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. (or) Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering in any stream from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks.
  2. Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) : Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
  3. Groups ‘X&Y’ (Eligible for both Technical and Non-Technical) : Passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Age Limit : Upper age limit as on date of enrollment is 21 years. Candidates born between 07 July 1997 and 20 December 2000 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.

Selection Process : Candidates will be selected based on Written Test, Adaptability Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) or Medical Test.

How to Apply : Eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply online. Online registration for the Selection Test will be available from 15 September 2016 on www.airmenselection.gov.in and will close on 29 September 2016. After successful registration, the duly filled colour printout of online application along with all required attachments (as applicable) is required to be sent to Central Airmen Selection Board (CASB) by ordinary post only, so as to reach CASB latest by 13 October 2016
