The Directorate of Social Welfare, Assam, invites applications from eligible candidates who are citizen of India as defined under Article 5 to 9 of the Constitution of India and fulfill the eligibility norms of educational qualification, age etc. as mentioned below against each category of purely temporary contractual posts. The posts have been created under the scheme “Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY)”.Eligible candidates can apply on or before 31st January, 2018.

Post Detailed:

1. Name of Post : State Programme Coordinator
No. of Post : 01
Pay : Rs. 45,000/- per month
Age Limit : Minimum 18 years & maximum 38 years as on 01/01/2017 with relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit for candidates under SC, ST(P), ST(H) & persons with disability category.
Educational Qualification : Post Graduate in Social Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Nutrition/ Medicine/ Health Management/Social Work/Rural management.
Experience/ Competencies :
i. At least 3 years experience of working with the Government/ Non- Government organizations.
ii. Proficiency in using MS-Office.
iii. Proficiency in local language and English.

2. Name of Post : State Programme Assistant
No. of Post : 01
Pay : Rs. 25,000/- per month
Age Limit : Minimum 18 years & maximum 38 years as on 01/01/2017 with relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit for candidates under SC, ST(P), ST(H) & persons with disability category.
Educational Qualification : Graduation with Major in Social Sciences/ Social Work/Rural management/ Statistics.
Experience/ Competencies : 
i. At least 2 years experience of working with the Government/ Non- Government organizations.
ii. Proficiency in using MS-Office, data entry and analysis.
iii. Proficiency in local language and English.


3. Name of Post : District Programme Coordinator (to be posted in different districts of Assam)
No. of Post : 27
Pay : Rs. 35,000/- per month
Age Limit : Minimum 18 years & maximum 38 years as on 01/01/2017 with relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit for candidates under SC, ST(P), ST(H) & persons with disability category.
Educational Qualification : Post Graduate in Social Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Nutrition/ Medicine/ Health Management/Social Work/Rural management.
Experience/ Competencies :
i. At least 1 year experience of working with the Government/ Non- Government organizations.
ii. Proficiency in using MS-Office.
iii. Proficiency in local language and English.

4. Name of Post : District Programme Assistant (to be posted in different districts of Assam)
No. of Post : 27
Pay : Rs. 20,000/- per month
Age Limit : Minimum 18 years & maximum 38 years as on 01/01/2017 with relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit for candidates under SC, ST(P), ST(H) & persons with disability category.
Educational Qualification : Graduation with Major in Social Sciences/ Social Work/Rural management/ Statistics.
Experience/ Competencies : 
i. At least 1 year experience of working with the Government/ Non- Government organizations.
ii. Proficiency in using MS-Office, data entry and analysis.

Selection Process : Candidate will be selected based on Written Test followed by Interview and Skill Test.
